Truck air bags can be used to check whether the shock absorber works well by the following methods: 

1. Make the car stop after running 10km on the road surface with poor road conditions, touch the shell of the shock absorber by hand, if it is not hot enough, it means there is no resistance inside the shock absorber, and the shock absorber does not work.  At this time, appropriate lubricating oil can be added, and then the test, if the shell heat, for the internal shock absorber oil shortage, should add enough oil;  Otherwise, the shock absorber fails. 

2. Press the bumper firmly and then release it. If the car jumps two or three times, the shock absorber is working well. 

3. When the car is moving slowly and the emergency brake, if the car vibration is more severe, the shock absorber has a problem.

4. Remove the shock absorber to the upright, and connect the bottom ring clamp on the vise, pull reduce vibration lever several times, this time should be stable resistance, pull up (recovery) of resistance should be greater than the resistance when pressing down on them, such as unstable resistance or without resistance, may be internal lack of oil damper or valve parts damaged, should be repaired or replacement parts.

After determining the problem or failure of the shock absorber, check whether the shock absorber is leaking oil or has traces of old oil leakage.  Oil seal gasket, sealing gasket rupture damage, oil storage cylinder head nut loose.  If oil leakage is found, first tighten the cylinder head nut, if the shock absorber is still leaking oil, it may be the oil seal, sealing gasket damage failure, should be replaced with a new seal.  If the oil leakage still cannot be eliminated, the damping rod should be pulled out. If the hairpin or weight is not felt, the gap between the piston and cylinder is too large, the piston connecting rod of the shock absorber is bent, and the surface of the piston connecting rod and cylinder is scratched or pulled.  If there is no oil leakage of the shock absorber, the shock absorber connecting pin, connecting rod, connecting hole, rubber bushing, etc., should be checked for damage, welding, cracking or falling off.  If the above inspection is normal, the shock absorber should be further decomposed, check whether the gap between the piston and cylinder is too large, the cylinder is not strained, the valve seal is good, the valve disc and seat fit is tight, and the shock absorber stretch spring is too soft or broken, according to the situation to repair or replace the method of repair.  In addition, the shock absorber in actual use will appear sound fault, which is mainly due to shock absorber and leaf spring, frame or shaft collision, rubber pad damage or fall off and shock absorber dustproof cylinder deformation, insufficient oil and other reasons, should find out the cause, repair.  The shock absorber should be tested on a special test table after inspection and repair. When the resistance frequency is 100±1mm, the resistance of the stretch stroke and compression stroke should meet the requirements.  The maximum resistance is 392 ~ 588N.  The maximum resistance of east windmill stretching stroke is 2450 ~ 3038N, and the maximum resistance of compression stroke is 490 ~ 686N.  If there is no test condition, we can also adopt a kind of experience, with an iron rod through the shock absorber in the bottom rings, with his feet on the side, holding the rings on the reciprocating 2 ~ 4 times, when pull up resistance is very big, pressing down on them without taxing, and stretching resistance compared with before repairing recovered, no idle, indicates basic normal shock absorber.
